As the President of First Dallas Financial Group, Jim brings 40 years of industry experience to the firm. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he has helped families build their financial dreams since 1984. Jim focuses on pre-retirement and retirement planning, along with estate planning. He spends considerable amount of time consulting with clients on a variety of life issues as well as financial issues. Jim holds Series 24, 7, and 63 securities licenses as well as life and disability insurance licenses.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He and his wife, Katrina, live in Oak Point, Texas. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. He has served several terms on the City Council and Planning and Zoning for the city of Oak Point and is currently a Council Member. He enjoys playing tennis, golf, traveling, and volunteering in the children's ministry at his church.
